This vintage Jasperware dish is a refined example of English ceramic heritage. Produced by the world-renowned Wedgwood pottery in Staffordshire, it features the iconic “Pale Blue” body that has become synonymous with the brand since the 18th century. The dish is crafted in a unique trefoil (clover) shape, traditionally designed as a decorative pin tray or elegant rest.

Artistic Detail

The dish is adorned with exquisite white bas-relief applications in the Neoclassical style. Each of the three sections showcases a different scene from Greek mythology, including winged deities and classical figures. The scalloped edges are framed by an intricate hand-applied floral garland and four-petal blossoms. The matte, “biscuit” finish of the Jasperware provides a beautiful tactile contrast to the crisp, raised details.
